How to make an
Appointment
Request with us
|
 |
Our work requires voice
communication
with you and your child
Appointments:
Our clients have regular
schedules. We can adapt as necessary for unusual circumstances (yours or
ours), but all our work is based on appointments. So, we need to confirm
with each other whenever we need a change to the regular schedule.
If you are not a client
and wish to talk with us, you will need an appointment for that talk (we
do not have a sales staff to talk with you). We are happy to talk with
you about your child and about our program, but we will need to schedule
that talk. And, you will need to organize your facilities so that we can
talk with you. The following information will help you organize that
request.
VOIP: Skype or Yahoo Messenger
Most of our appointments use
Skype and some use
Yahoo
Messenger.
These are PC to PC
internet communications programs. They are free to
download and free to use, and you may already have one of them on your computer. They usually have better voice quality than the telephone. You will need
to have a computer headset (earphones with a microphone) for best
use of these internet call programs (otherwise there are lots of echoes).
To set an initial appointment, get
the software installed on your computer (including your headset) and send a
request for me to put you on my contact list. In the message box type
Appointment Request,
your name & real email address, and the times (including your time
zone) that work best for you for the
appointment. I will respond by email with your appointment date & time.
If you
are already in my contact list, send me an
email with a subject of Appointment Request.
Give me
your name & email address, and the times (including your time
zone) that work best for you for the
appointment and tell me which internet calling software you have
installed. I will respond by email with your appointment date & time.
Phone
Card
If you are
in the USA and don't
have high-speed internet connection, you can use this
phone card. At this link, you will find a phone card for $10 that
gives you more than 3 hours of phone time with us. We will give you our
phone number when we set the appointment time.
If you are
not in the USA and don't have high-speed internet connection, you can
find a low-cost phone card which provides phone access to Uruguay, South America
and USA (we normally work in either)
and use that for calls to us.
To ask for
the phone appointment, send me an
email with a subject of Phone Appointment Request.
Give me
your name & email address, and the times (including your time
zone) that work best for you for the
appointment. I will respond by email with your appointment date & time.
